Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and deliver force-wide campaigns, marketing activity and recruitment initiatives.
  • Create engaging content across digital, social, print and multimedia platforms.
  • Support the delivery of communications strategies that build public trust and confidence in policing.
  • Identify new campaign opportunities and innovative ways to reach and engage target audiences.
  • Work closely with communications colleagues to develop news-led campaigns that support force priorities.
  • Evaluate campaign performance and use insight to drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion the Nottinghamshire Police brand across all communication channels.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners and community stakeholders.
  • Support recruitment marketing activities and events across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a communications, marketing or campaigns role.
  • Strong understanding of social media, digital communications and audience engagement.
  • Experience creating engaging content, including written, visual, audio or video materials.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Experience planning, delivering and evaluating campaigns.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience using creative software and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and influence a range of stakeholders.
  • A creative mindset combined with strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
