School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences
Location: Stoke Campus
Salary: £38,784 Per Annum Pro Rata
Release Date: Wednesday 07 October 2026

We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals interested in joining our team as Hourly Paid Lecturers in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Applicants should hold an appropriate postgraduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, have relevant knowledge and experience within the field, hold current accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and be in current clinical practice. Ideally, applicants will also hold an appropriate qualification in clinical supervision.
Provision includes both face-to-face and online delivery, with opportunities to contribute to clinical skills teaching, workshops, clinical supervision and other programme activities. Teaching and clinical supervision activities take place on Thursdays and Fridays. Applicants should therefore be available to undertake teaching and/or supervision on those days. Experience of teaching within higher education is desirable but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the education and development of future CBT practitioners within a supportive and professionally focused academic environment.
To express your interest, please submit a CV with a covering email or letter to nadean.johnson1@staffs.ac.uk – Course Director (Postgraduate Psychology and Counselling).
