Edit long form YouTube videos and podcasts to shorts and social cuts.
Craft hooks and identify top moments for maximum engagement across platforms.
Own upload, scheduling, community replies, and creator visibility with consistent editing style.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Edit long form YouTube videos, including haircut tutorials and podcasts.
Turn long form videos into short clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and TikTok.
Understand what makes a good hook and identify the most engaging moments.
Maintain a clean, tight editing style.
Potentially edit barber sketches and talking to camera videos.
Upload and schedule content across multiple platforms.
Post brand collaborations and promotional content.
Respond to comments and messages on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Substack.
Help maintain and grow the online community.
Create and post content for the SliderCuts Studios page.

Requirements

Strong editing skills.
Organised and reliable.
Can work independently.

Preferred

Loves content and social media.
Understands audience attention and engagement.
Experience publishing content across multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Substack).
Brings ideas instead of simply waiting for instructions.
