Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Create, curate, and schedule compelling content across all relevant platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to comments and messages.
  • Analyse performance metrics to optimise content effectiveness and increase audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and maximise outreach efforts.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms to enhance visibility and reach target audiences.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the organisation at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Foster positive public relations by managing online reputation and addressing any potential issues proactively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply within digital environments.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data from social media analytics platforms and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling techniques.
