Job Summary

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Managing the production interface between creative, content and marketing distribution teams and business partners/internal stakeholders
  • Day-to-day supervision of all elements of the daily production cycle, content, creative and other departmental resources to ensure accurate, high-quality client delivery and service to all areas of the Group
  • Working closely with the creative team to schedule daily tasks, pre-planning workload in advance as much as possible and prioritising tasks where needed, updating on progress and status
  • Manage workflows through creative and content generation teams, providing Marketing, Creative and Content Managers with the day-to-day information and advice to prioritise workloads, highlighting and escalating issues where appropriate
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with key suppliers, in particular print, and, where required work with Managers to seek additional resource through freelance or overspill
  • Ensure that workflows are documented, briefed, recorded maintained and assessed appropriately, to include such areas as job files, resource, supplier and print sample files, and provide activity reports identifying volume/commissioning/productivity and cost analysis as required
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients in an effective and efficient manner and respond quickly to internal and client ad hoc requests
  • To check the quality and integrity of jobs produced to eradicate mistakes by spotting any ambiguities and any problems with sense, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and CMA compliancy. You will also ensure that documents are presented in accordance with brand guidelines and consistency between jobs is upheld
  • Along with the day-to-day, you will be required to support the delivery of events which may fall outside of core working hours i.e. evenings and weekends. This includes Open Days, Clearing and Student/Staff/Corporate Events

Requirements

  • Degree level in a related subject area or significant work experience in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a similar organisational/administrative role in a complex environment
  • Experience managing/organising and resolving multiple workflow streams of incoming traffic across various channels in a marketing production environment
  • Scheduling/planning of team resource and tasks, utilising project management and planning software
  • Excellent accuracy and proofreading skills
  • High levels of organisation and delivery skills, balancing multiple conflicting demands, with the ability to meet deadlines; able to communicate with stakeholders and team members for reprioritisation
  • Building productive working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers
  • Proactive self-starter with keenness to take own initiative and manage tasks effectively
