Job Summary

Own planning and client storytelling for media campaigns, translating strategy into concrete plans, and maintaining senior-level client and agency relationships while applying Purchase Journey thinking across tools and consumer insights.

  • Own planning outputs and inputs, coordinating with teams to meet deadlines.
  • Lead brainstorms and idea creation to shape campaigns with data-driven buy-in.
  • Develop expert understanding of media channels, market trends, and internal/external tooling to illuminate opportunities for clients.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own planning presentations including defining inputs and coordinating with wider teams to meet deadlines.
  • Lead brainstorm and idea creation for campaigns.
  • Develop an advanced understanding of media channels, channel ecosystems and planning best practices.
  • Start to translate strategic approach into planning practices for specific client briefs and pitches.
  • Have an advanced understanding of Wavemakers’s Purchase Journey thinking and planning philosophy across all client work.
  • Have an expert overview of the media market landscape, trends and start to build media owner relationships.
  • Oversee campaign management, ensuring quality control and output is of the highest standard.
  • Build and maintain client and agency relationships at a mid-senior level to understand stakeholders and client business.
  • Lead problem solving by integrating data and insights to find evidence-based solutions.
  • Develop a skilled understanding of commercial practices and the wider agency.

Requirements

  • Comfortable presenting from platforms and building a story from data outside platforms (Telmar, etc.).
  • Can confidently answer client questions and liaise with internal teams on best solutions.

  • Stakeholder Relationships – Skilled - Expert knowledge of client and agency structures and key decision makers.
