Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with care home managers, scheme managers and community organisations.
  • Visit care homes, independent living and sheltered housing schemes to introduce Almond Eyecare's services.
  • Arrange and coordinate eye examination clinics.
  • Carry out community outreach and local marketing activities.
  • Visit residential areas to introduce our services to eligible patients in a professional, respectful and ethical manner.
  • Promote NHS and private domiciliary eye care services.
  • Assist patients with selecting spectacles following their eye examination.
  • Deliver and fit spectacles when required.
  • Book appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Represent Almond Eyecare professionally at all times.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Own reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Friendly, confident and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own diary.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • Willingness to travel across London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

Preferred

  • Optical Assistant experience.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, care homes or domiciliary services.
  • Community outreach, business development or account management experience.
  • Sales or customer-facing experience.
  • Knowledge of NHS optical services is advantageous.
