Job Summary

Own a multi-channel student recruitment marketing role focused on hitting targets through content, CRM, and digital-asset optimization in partnership with Marketing, Recruitment, and campus teams.

  • Campaign performance: monitor pages and campaigns, and drive iterative improvements to conversion and SEO alignment.
  • Content and CMS: develop web content, landing pages, and copy with accessibility in mind and brand-consistent visuals.
  • CRM and email: build nurture and audience campaigns, plan communications, and measure impact across UK and international markets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Marketing and Student Recruitment teams to develop a comprehensive and unified approach to meeting student targets at the University, as well as with colleagues across the institution including those in College teams and the wider External Relations division.
  • Flexibly shift focus across key areas—such as content development, lead generation, CRM, and digital platforms—in response to strategic priorities.
  • Develop web content and upload content to the CMS system, ensuring SEO and accessibility compliance.
  • Report and monitor performance of student recruitment marketing campaign pages, and provide recommendations to improve the site.
  • Build campaign landing pages in line with the CMS and the University’s brand.
  • Work with the Digital Channel Management team to improve user experience for student recruitment audiences.
  • Contribute to the CRM strategy by building email nurture campaigns to attract and convert prospective students.
  • Build, deliver and measure email communications plans using the University’s CRM system.
  • Support development of advertising campaigns across UK and international markets.
  • Monitor digital campaigns with internal and external agencies and provide reports including iterative improvements.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualifications) in marketing or a closely related field
  • If no equivalent qualification, significant practical relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrable copywriting experience for a breadth of audiences
  • A thorough understanding of CRM and experience using a CRM system
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is desirable
  • Experience of using web Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Digitally literate with confidence in database systems and electronic communications
  • Project management experience and knowledge of running campaigns
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to interpret market insight to develop marketing campaign activity

Nice to have

  • Experience in digital marketing (beyond basic marketing)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is desirable
