Own the day-to-day management of the marketing department, guiding a high‑performing, multi‑disciplinary team to deliver strategic plans and campaigns while continuously improving processes and performance.

  • Monitor campaigns, analyse results and remove barriers to ensure on‑time delivery.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the marketing department, ensuring workloads are planned effectively and resources are utilised efficiently.
  • Inspire, coach and develop a high-performing team across multiple marketing disciplines.
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and personal development planning.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive and accountable team culture.
  • Encourage creativity, innovation and continuous professional development throughout the department.
  • Identify skills gaps and training opportunities.
  • Work alongside the Head of Marketing to translate departmental strategy into actionable marketing plans.
  • Ensure strategic priorities are clearly communicated and successfully delivered by the team.
  • Monitor campaign progress and remove barriers to successful delivery.
  • Coordinate activity across all product genres, promotional channels and customer audiences.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline.
  • 7–10+ years' experience in a senior marketing role.
  • Significant experience leading and developing marketing teams.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Commercial awareness with a strong understanding of campaign performance and ROI.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and coaching skills.
  • Confidence presenting results and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data.

Preferred

  • Experience in travel, cruise or hospitality marketing.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms and customer segmentation.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience embedding AI or automation within marketing workflows.
