Job Description

Responsibilities

  • BAU Communications & Content Calendar: Manage and maintain the BAU marketing calendar, keeping it up to date and flagging anything that needs attention.
  • Deliver scheduled marketing communications across multiple channels, covering product webinar invites, new customer/deal announcements, project go-live notifications, and product updates.
  • Liaise with internal teams — product, sales, and projects — to gather the information you need to produce and send communications on time.
  • Coordinate with the Designer for artwork where required, providing clear briefs and managing timelines.
  • Maintain brand tone and message consistency across all communications.
  • Contribute content to website news/events sections and assist with basic website updates.
  • HubSpot CRM & Database: Carry out regular data cleansing, updates, and maintenance to keep the database accurate and well-structured.
  • Build and maintain audience segments to support targeted campaign sends.
  • Set up and send email campaigns in HubSpot as directed, ensuring correct lists, links, and tracking are in place.
  • Keep HubSpot social media connectors current and functional.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years' experience in a B2B marketing role — Marketing Executive, Marketing Coordinator, or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience producing and sending email campaigns, ideally in HubSpot.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining a CRM database — data entry, cleansing, segmentation.
  • Excellent written English with the ability to write clear, professional copy and adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills — you can juggle several tasks at once, meet deadlines, and keep track of what’s outstanding.
  • A practical, get-it-done mindset — you are comfortable picking up a brief and delivering without needing everything spelt out.
  • Good at liaising with colleagues to gather information and chase inputs without friction.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift.
  • Degree-level qualification in Marketing, English, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Willingness to travel to our Edinburgh office and/or nearby storage unit on an occasional basis.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a software, SaaS, or technology business — familiarity with how software products go to market is a genuine advantage.
  • Experience coordinating events or exhibitions — logistics, supplier liaison, on-the-day delivery.
  • Exposure to website CMS updates (any platform, though WordPress expertise is a bonus).
  • Familiarity with HubSpot reporting or other marketing analytics tools.

Benefits

  • Salary of £35,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid/remote working arrangements.
  • Company pension with salary sacrifice scheme.
  • Life insurance and private medical cover.
  • 25 days' paid annual leave (plus UK public holidays)
  • A collaborative, values-led team environment.
