Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Join our Open Access Marketing team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of impactful, innovative marketing campaigns driving journal awareness and manuscript submissions.
  • Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you will support delivery of a range of marketing activities, including content creation, social media, digital advertising, website updates, copywriting, and event support.
  • In this varied and collaborative role, you will work with marketing colleagues and shared services teams to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
  • You will contribute to campaign planning and execution, support internal and external communications, maintain marketing resources and best-practice documentation, and assist with campaign analysis and reporting.
  • You'll also develop a strong understanding of academic publishing, open access, and researcher needs, helping to create effective audience-focused marketing journeys.

Requirements

  • hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
  • Ability to execute marketing plans, demonstrate proficiency in digital marketing, and understand how to improve based on analytics.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders in diverse locations and functions.
  • Manage time effectively, using structured decision-making to prioritize activity in accordance with team goals and plans.

Preferred

  • Marketing experience in a scholarly publishing environment is desirable.
  • Ability to think strategically about marketing channels and messages is desirable.
