Job Summary

Own and execute the social media strategy across Merseyside centres, from creating engaging content and scheduling posts to moderating communities, coordinating with centre teams and analysing performance.

  • Content scheduling, calendars and cross-site publishing
  • Community engagement, monitoring responses and reporting insights

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Creating engaging social media content including posts, stories, captions, images and short-form videos.
  • Capturing photo and video content at our Merseyside centres and events.
  • Planning, scheduling and publishing content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • Managing content calendars and ensuring regular, balanced coverage across all centres.
  • Monitoring social media activity and engaging with our online community.
  • Tracking performance metrics and contributing ideas to improve engagement and reach.
  • Working closely with centre teams to gather content and promote positive learner outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
  • Ability to capture and edit high-quality photo and video content.
  • Strong written communication skills and confidence writing captions for different audiences.
  • Experience planning and scheduling content across multiple channels.
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport, with the ability to travel between Merseyside sites.

Preferred

  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating content within education, training, charity or community settings.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, consent and the appropriate use of images and video content.
