Job Summary

Own and coordinate end-to-end insight work to translate data into actionable, business-focused recommendations for CHANEL’s F&B and marketing teams, blending market, brand, and product analytics to influence campaign and product decisions.

  • Insight storytelling: craft data-driven proposals for stakeholders based on analytics findings.
  • Performance oversight: define KPIs and build dashboards to contextualize campaign and product performance.
  • Market intelligence: lead market and competitive analysis to inform strategy and executive summaries.

Job Description

  • Manage insight projects end to end working closely with stakeholders to fully understand requirements and provide collaborative solutions based on a commercial, market, brand and analytical understanding.
  • Through data story-telling recommend strategic proposals based on the insights you draw from analytics and communicating insight outputs to key stakeholders effectively.
  • Set and monitor relevant KPIs to continuously track campaign and product performance. Design, build and manage dashboards and reports featuring key product and campaign performance indicators in close collaboration with Marketing Team providing rich context to the insights
  • In collaboration with F&B Director and Head of Marketing, produce deep market and competitor analysis to inform business strategy.
  • Produce Monthly Market report and executive summary and share with F&B Community.
  • Support, when required, team members with reporting and developing their analysis skills, including training on DecisionKey.
  • Work collaboratively with the other analysts across F&B to tackle business requests to use combined expertise to provide more actionable insights and recommendations. Support the creation a thriving analytics environment in F&B where knowledge and ideas are shared and aligned.
  • Investigate existing data sources and subscriptions within F&B division. Set up and manage a data hub platform for product & market insights for teams to share and find data and insights
  • Support Data Management & Governance at CHANEL working with BI, IT, Retail and E-Com to ensure data quality to optimise insights outputs. Support with F&B data stewardship needs for upcoming data integrations.

  • Experience in a business insights role, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and data governance skills.
  • Strong ability to translate insights and analysis into compelling data-storytelling that drives business impact
  • Proven track record working with and analysing multiple sources to manipulate data
  • Proficiency in creative data visualisation (PowerBI)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with stakeholders, coupled with an agile, proactive mindset focused on continuous business improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to prioritise workload according to business needs.
