Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead high priority strategic initiatives end to end from scoping and business casing through execution, working closely with marketing, product, data, finance, and regional teams.
  • Act as a trusted right hand to the marketing leadership, translating strategic priorities into structured plans, workstreams, and measurable outcomes.
  • Own cross functional programme management for major marketing initiatives (e.g. brand launches, agency transitions, martech implementations, org changes), ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and accountability.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks within marketing, improving how the function plans, prioritises, and executes work.
  • Prepare senior level materials board updates, strategy documents, business reviews synthesising complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Drive process and efficiency improvements, including budget management, planning cycles, and marketing operating rhythms.
  • Parachute into ambiguous or urgent problems across the marketing function, quickly building context and driving them toward resolution.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a connective layer between marketing and other functions such as Product, Data, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.

Requirements

  • A track record of leading complex, ambiguous, cross-functional projects from scoping to delivery.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem solving skills, with comfort moving between big-picture strategy and detailed execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior stakeholders or leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive alignment across teams without direct authority.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, remittances, retail or a high growth consumer tech company is a strong plus.
  • A genuine interest in Zepz's mission of making global money movement more accessible.

  • Strong AI literacy — an understanding of what AI assistants can and cannot do, how to prompt effectively, and how to critically evaluate AI-generated output before using it.
  • Awareness of the ethical considerations and responsible use of AI in the workplace, particularly in the context of sensitive data, customer experience, and compliance.
