Job Summary

Own the end-to-end volunteer marketing engine for The Quran Group, turning long-form teaching content into watchable clips and growing a mission-aligned audience across YouTube and social channels.

  • Lead content strategy and posting across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Build and manage a small volunteer production team and onboarding process.
  • Analyze analytics and adjust to improve reach while staying aligned with the mission.

Job Description

  • Lead content strategy and posting calendar across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Build and manage a small volunteer team of editors, designers, and writers, interviewing and onboarding them.
  • Turn hundreds of hours of recorded teaching into short-form clips and full lessons that people actually watch, then ensure they get found.
  • Read analytics and adjust to improve reach and alignment with the mission.
  • Work closely with the founder to keep work matched to The Quran Group’s volunteer-driven capacity.
  • Experience growing an audience on YouTube and other channels (Instagram, TikTok) with tangible examples.
  • Strong grasp of video pacing, hooks, and end frames to maximize watch time and completion.
  • Understanding of search and discovery, including how to title and tag for YouTube and feeds to reach the right people.
  • Ability to lead and brief volunteers, not just produce content.
  • Knowledge of Islamic content boundaries, no inappropriate depictions or music where not allowed.
  • Reliability and consistency in a volunteer-driven context where work is never finished.
  • Clear written English and adaptable tone for different audiences.
  • Alignment with The Quran Group’s mission and values; prior Islamic organization experience is a plus but not required.
  • Prior experience with Islamic organizations or communities is a plus, not a requirement.
