Job Summary

Own the strategy for fundraising, marketing and communications with a clear growth mandate and a donor-centered lens, leading senior teams to lift income beyond £2m while boosting brand, engagement and sustainability.

  • Integrated Strategy: own fundraising, marketing and comms plan across diverse income streams to drive growth and strengthen reputation.
  • Leadership & Stakeholders: oversee multiple teams and influence donors, partners, media and healthcare networks.
  • Innovation & Data: push digital engagement and data-driven decisions to maximize impact and long-term value.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • lead the development and delivery of an integrated fundraising, marketing and communications strategy, driving voluntary income growth beyond £2 million annually while strengthening our brand, reputation and community engagement.
  • provide strategic leadership across fundraising, marketing and communications teams, overseeing diverse income streams including individual giving, legacies, events, corporate partnerships and grants.
  • champion innovation, supporter engagement, digital growth and data-led decision-making to maximise impact and long-term sustainability.
  • build strong relationships with donors, partners, healthcare organisations, community groups and the media, ensuring our story is communicated with compassion, clarity and influence.
  • We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded leader with significant senior-level experience in fundraising, marketing, communications or income generation.
  • You will have a proven track record of delivering income growth, leading high-performing teams and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience within the charity, healthcare or hospice sector would be advantageous.
