Job Summary

Own growth strategy and cross-functional execution to scale fintech adoption across Anglophone Africa and diaspora markets, driving acquisition, activation, retention, and unit-economics discipline.

  • Growth Strategy & cross-functional leadership across Growth, Ops, Product, CRM, and Partnerships.
  • Acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and win-back programs via paid media, influencer, and community initiatives.
  • Funnel optimization with Product to lift onboarding, conversions, ARPU, and LTV.

Job Description

  • Define the Growth Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive market entry and penetration strategies across Anglophone Africa and key diaspora sender markets.
  • Drive Acquisition & Retention: Own the end-to-end user lifecycle—from paid marketing, influencer campaigns, and community-led initiatives to activation, engagement, and win-back strategies.
  • Optimise the Funnel: Partner closely with Product to refine onboarding, improve conversion rates, limits, and user experience to increase transaction frequency, ARPU, and LTV.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Oversee day-to-day operations by coordinating across Growth, Ops, Product, CRM, and Partnerships to ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently and align with LemFi’s mission.
  • Maximise Performance & Unit Economics: Track and analyse key metrics (CAC, LTV, revenue, payback periods), continuously optimising growth levers and resource allocation for maximum impact.
  • Build a High-Performing Team: Hire, mentor, and lead an innovative growth team, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of ownership and speed.
  • Significant experience in Growth, Marketing and Commercial leadership roles within B2C fintech.
  • Proven track record scaling fintech, payments, remittances, or consumer financial products.
  • Deep expertise in Anglophone African markets and diaspora-led growth strategies.
  • Strong command of growth funnels, CRM, paid media, partnerships, and community-led growth.
  • Demonstrated experience managing regional performance targets, budgets, CAC, and LTV.
