Job Summary

Own the creation and optimization of employer-brand content on LinkedIn, from planning and drafting stories to scheduling, approvals, and performance insight for a graduate candidate in branding and social.

  • Content ownership: plan, draft, and calendar employee stories, culture highlights, and industry insights for LinkedIn.
  • Engagement & optimization: monitor metrics, test approaches, and report what moves engagement with target audiences.
  • Brand alignment: ensure all posts reflect values and tone while following policy and guidelines.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Research LinkedIn and social media best practice (content formats, tone, timing, algorithms)
  • Analyse how competitors and leading brands showcase their culture and employer brand
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve engagement with our target audiences
  • Build upon and refine our existing LinkedIn content plan and calendar
  • Create and draft posts (e.g. employee stories, culture highlights, industry insights)
  • Ensure content reflects our employer brand, values and tone of voice
  • Schedule content on the SBG LinkedIn page
  • Work with stakeholders to gather inputs, stories and approval for posts
  • Ensure posts align with internal social media policy and brand guidelines
  • Monitor post performance (engagement, reach, clicks, etc.)
Requirements
  • Are a recent graduate (or about to graduate) in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
  • Have a strong interest in social media, branding or content creation
  • Have excellent written communication skills and can write clearly and engagingly
  • Are curious and data-driven—comfortable reviewing performance and turning insight into action
  • Are organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Bring ideas and aren’t afraid to suggest new ways of doing things
Preferred
  • Experience managing social media accounts (personal, academic or professional)
  • Basic understanding of LinkedIn analytics or social media tools
  • Confidence using tools like PowerPoint and Copilot
