Responsibilities

• Facebook/Instagram ownership: create, schedule, and publish content that reflects a friendly, community-driven ethos.
• Bilingual posting: publish Welsh and English content to engage a bilingual audience.
• Community engagement: respond to comments to keep the digital presence helpful and welcoming, with optional TikTok experiments.

Requirements

• Ideally, a university student or recent graduate looking to build their CV with genuine, hands-on freelance experience.
• Someone with a solid understanding of Facebook and Instagram, with a good eye for what makes an engaging, professional post.
• A self-starter who is highly reliable and comfortable working independently.
• Remote, some on-site work occasionally.
• Hours: 6 to 15 hours per week. The work is entirely flexible and designed to fit easily around your lectures, coursework, and exams.
• Contract: Freelance / Independent Contractor (you will be responsible for your own invoicing).
• Location: Remote, some on-site work occasionally.

Preferred

• Ideally someone speaking both Welsh and English fluently to post bilingually
• Bonus points if you know your crotchets from your quavers, though you certainly do not need to be a musician to apply!
• Experience: Social media management: 1 year (preferred)
