Job Summary

Own external communications for Pay.UK to shape policy, regulatory, media and stakeholder narratives across channels; drive clear, accessible messaging and crisis readiness through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strategic communications: translate complex policy and technical activity into audience-appropriate statements, briefings, and campaigns.
  • Leadership readiness: prepare senior spokespeople with messages, Q&As, speeches and media materials, and coordinate crisis or reputational responses.
  • Cross-channel execution: oversee press, PR, social content, events, and integrated plans with Policy, Public Affairs, Stakeholder Engagement and Internal Communications.
