Job Summary

Own the visual storytelling engine for a multi-audience education group, turning photos, video and design into brand-safe campaigns that recruit and engage learners and communities.

  • Content ownership: Lead photography, videography and digital content across education, football, community programmes and events.
  • Social and brand: Define and execute social strategy to grow reach and engagement while upholding safeguarding and brand standards.
  • Creative ops: Manage design, website updates and marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to ensure consistent brand identity.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality photography, videography and digital content across education, football, community programmes and events; plan, film, edit and publish engaging promotional videos, interviews and success stories.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and deliver the organisation's social media strategy; manage and grow all social media platforms through regular, engaging content; monitor performance and identify opportunities to increase audience reach and engagement; ensure content reflects the Marcelona brand and safeguarding standards.
  • Graphic Design & Marketing: Design professional marketing materials, including digital and print graphics; support learner recruitment, fundraising, football and community campaigns; maintain a consistent brand identity across all communications.
  • Website & Communications: Maintain and update website content; publish news, events and learner success stories; support email marketing and digital communications.
  • Brand Development: Promote the work the Marcelona Group and develop creative campaigns that increase awareness, engagement and recruitment.
  • Event Coverage: Capture photography and video content at college activities, football fixtures, community events and promotional activities; produce timely content for publication across digital platforms.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Digital Media, Marketing, Graphic Design or a related subject, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience creating content for social media, including photography, videography and graphic design
  • Strong video editing and content creation skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar creative software
  • Experience managing social media platforms and website content

Nice to have

  • Degree, CertHE, HNC or HND in a relevant subject
  • Experience working in education, sport or the charity sector
  • Knowledge of SEO, website management and digital marketing analytics
  • Full UK driving licence
