Job Summary

Own marketing support and campaign production for a college, focused on multi-channel content, media relations, and events coordination to drive recruitment targets.

  • Content and campaigns: plan, produce, and maintain high quality materials and short form video content for social channels.
  • Digital presence and PR: update the website and digital platforms; respond to media activity and manage PR for the college.
  • Cross-team events: liaise with internal departments and partners to plan College events and marketing activities that support recruitment goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the College Marketing function
  • Producing high quality marketing materials and campaigns
  • Respond to and produce media and PR related activity
  • Ensure an outstanding service to all its users.
  • Assist in the co-ordination and forward planning of College marketing strategies, implementing new ideas to support the department’s achievement of recruitment targets.
  • Plan and produce a wide range of high-quality marketing campaigns and materials appropriate to the business of the College
  • Production of short form video content for use on social channels
  • Experience of structuring and maintaining a content library
  • Update the College website and digital platforms with interesting, informative and professional content, to engage with a wide range of audiences.
  • Monitor activity and update social networking sites for the College
  • Support the Schools and Events Officers to liaise with relevant internal departments and partner organisations to plan, organise and execute successful College events and marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience of digital marketing, either on agency or client side, or through voluntary work.
  • Degree/ Level 4 qualification or – equivalent in a subject area relevant to Marketing, PR or Event activity.
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Knowledge Excellent IT Skills including good knowledge of relevant systems for role.
  • Up to date knowledge of marketing practices.

Preferred

  • Specific experience in the FE sector is particularly advantageous.
