Responsibilities

• Proactively pitch and secure editorial coverage for Cox & Cox across online and print media.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key journalists, editors and media contacts within the interiors, lifestyle, trade and national press sectors.
• Organise and attend face-to-face meetings, media breakfasts and promotional events to support brand and seasonal launches.
• Respond to direct requests from journalists via the press inbox and media outlets.
• Manage image requests, press liaison and distribution of approved materials.
• Create and maintain the press release schedule.
• Act as the first point of contact for journalists regarding press loans and provide regular status updates.
• Maintain Press Loft assets, copy and supporting information as required.
• Generate ideas that contribute to organic brand reach and wider brand-building activity to support target revenue plans.
• Own and maintain high-quality product descriptions, including Buyers’ Notes, dimensions and info, ensuring all information is accurate, clear and on brand.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a PR role.
• Experience in content, copywriting or editorial.
• Strong written English with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to write clearly, accurately and in a consistent brand tone of voice.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
• Organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple content and PR priorities.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with journalists and external contacts.
