Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Planning: Manage the overall marketing strategy across the cluster. Create individual marketing plans tailored to the concept, audience and objectives of each venue. Build and maintain annual, seasonal and monthly marketing calendars. Plan campaigns around new menus, events, private dining, seasonal occasions and key trading periods. Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, bookings and footfall. Set clear campaign objectives, timelines, budgets and performance targets. Take full ownership of marketing activity from concept through to delivery and reporting. Ensure activity is appropriately prioritised across the four venues according to their individual needs and trading objectives.
  • Individual Brand Identity and Management: Protect and develop the distinct identity, positioning and personality of each venue. Ensure each brand has a clearly defined tone of voice, visual style, target audience and marketing approach. Avoid applying a generic or overly centralised approach across the portfolio. Develop campaigns that feel authentic and relevant to each individual restaurant. Ensure all communications reflect the correct brand identity across social media, websites, CRM, printed materials, menus, signage and venue collateral. Maintain and develop brand guidelines, logos, typography, colour palettes, photography styles and creative templates. Ensure each venue remains recognisable and distinctive while maintaining an appropriate level of quality and consistency across the collection. Work with chefs and operational teams to communicate the individual food, drink, service and guest experience of each brand. Regularly review each venue’s positioning to ensure it remains relevant within the London hospitality market.
  • Graphic Design and Creative Production: Independently design high-quality digital and printed marketing assets for all venues. Create social media graphics, Instagram Stories, Reel covers, digital adverts, email banners and website graphics. Design printed materials including menus, flyers, posters, invitations, table cards, event packs, brochures, signage and promotional collateral. Ensure all creative work is adapted to the individual visual identity of the relevant venue. Update menus and other materials accurately when dishes, pricing, timings or event information change. Adapt designs into the correct dimensions and formats for social media, websites, CRM campaigns, advertising and print. Produce professional, print-ready artwork using the correct dimensions, bleed, margins and file specifications. Create reusable branded templates for recurring campaigns and venue communications. Liaise with printers and production suppliers to request quotations, approve proofs and manage production deadlines. Maintain an organised digital library of logos, fonts, templates, photography and final artwork. Brief and manage external designers or creative agencies for larger branding projects where specialist support is required. Review externally produced artwork to ensure it is accurate, on-brand and suitable for production.
  • Social Media and Content: Develop an individual social media strategy for each venue. Create monthly content calendars that reflect each brand’s personality, audience and commercial priorities. Oversee regular publishing across relevant platforms. Write engaging and accurate social media copy in the appropriate tone of voice for each brand. Organise and direct photography and video content shoots. Brief photographers, videographers and content creators. Create and edit short-form social media content where appropriate. Manage community engagement and respond professionally to comments and messages. Ensure content does not feel repetitive across the portfolio. Monitor content performance and adjust each venue’s strategy based on results.
  • Email Marketing and CRM: Manage email marketing and CRM activity across the cluster. Develop individual communication strategies for each venue and customer database. Plan, design, write and send regular newsletters and targeted campaigns. Grow and segment customer databases. Develop campaigns around new menus, events, private dining, offers and seasonal occasions. Ensure CRM communications reflect the relevant venue’s individual voice and positioning. Monitor open rates, click-through rates, conversions and database growth. Ensure communications are accurate, appropriately targeted and compliant with data-protection requirements.
  • Websites, SEO and Digital Presence: Manage each venue’s website and ensure all information remains accurate and up to date. Maintain the individual design, tone and customer journey of each brand’s digital presence. Create and update landing pages, menus, event listings and booking information. Coordinate website development and technical support where necessary. Manage SEO content, including blogs and local search optimisation. Maintain Google Business Profiles, online directories and hospitality listings. Monitor website traffic, search performance and customer booking journeys. Identify improvements that support visibility, brand storytelling and booking conversion.
  • Paid Advertising: Plan and manage paid social and digital advertising campaigns. Develop campaigns around the specific objectives and audiences of each venue. Set campaign objectives, audiences and budgets. Create or coordinate the required advertising assets and copy. Monitor and optimise campaigns based on performance. Report on reach, engagement, bookings, leads and return on investment. Coordinate external paid media support where required.
  • PR, Influencers and Partnerships: Manage relationships with PR agencies, journalists, influencers and content creators. Develop PR and influencer strategies that reflect the positioning of each individual venue. Review and respond to press and collaboration requests. Organise press visits, influencer experiences and hosted events. Build partnerships with hotels, local businesses, luxury brands and relevant organisations. Identify collaborations that support the individual identity and commercial objectives of each venue. Agree deliverables and ensure partnerships provide measurable value.
  • New Restaurant Openings: Develop and deliver pre-opening, launch and post-opening marketing plans. Coordinate brand development, website creation, social media launches and opening campaigns. Ensure the two new venues are positioned as individual brands rather than extensions of the existing restaurants. Manage launch photography, PR, partnerships, influencer activity and opening events. Build awareness, followers and customer databases ahead of each opening. Work closely with operations to ensure menus, booking systems, opening information and guest communications are accurate. Maintain detailed launch timelines and ensure all marketing deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Sales and Events Support: Work closely with the Cluster Sales & Events Manager to promote private dining, group bookings and events. Develop venue-specific event brochures, packages, landing pages, email campaigns and promotional materials. Create campaigns that generate relevant event and corporate enquiries. Ensure the Sales & Events Manager has accurate and up-to-date branded collateral for each venue. Support Christmas, wedding, corporate event and private dining campaigns across the cluster. Ensure event campaigns reflect the atmosphere, facilities and target market of the individual venue.
