Job Summary

Own the revenue outreach process for advertising and sponsorships, identifying prospects, managing relationships, and reporting progress to drive funding for HVA activities.

Research and identify potential advertisers and sponsors to build a qualified pipeline.
Manage contacts and articulate the benefits of sponsorships while recording interactions in the database.
Monitor targets, compile monthly progress reports, and keep the Executive Team informed.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Understand how to research and identify potential advertisers and sponsors
Record information in an online contact management database
Deal confidently and politely with contacts
Build effective relationships with potential advertisers/sponsors
Be clear about the benefits of advertising/sponsoring HVA
Monitor progress against agreed targets
Provide monthly reports to the Executive Team
Identify suitable contacts for advertising, sponsorship or in-kind support
Establish and maintain a database of these contacts recording what's achieved and when
Follow guidelines on advertising rates and timeframes for specific events to obtain advertising revenue and sponsorship fees or support in kind for HVA activities
Submit monthly reports on progress against agreed targets

Requirements

Selling and relationship building experience (ideally)
Ability to research and identify potential advertisers and sponsors
Experience recording information in an online contact management database
Ability to deal confidently and politely with contacts
Ability to monitor progress against agreed targets
Ability to provide monthly reports to the Executive Team

Herts Visual Arts Forum (HVA) is an artists run community providing support, opportunity and networking to artists and makers across Hertfordshire. - Provide ways for artists of all disciplines, amateur or professional, to meet and exchange ideas and information. - Encourage professionalism and high standards in its members and their dealings with artists' employers, facilitators, galleries and supporters. - Raise awareness of and promote accessibility to the visual arts in Hertfordshire. - Lobby for wider opportunities for artists and better facilities for the visual arts. - Represent the County's artists to Local, County, Regional and National bodies.HVA organises the following: - Quarterly meetings with guest artists and speakers, open to all members and guests. - Regular newsletters with information, features and members' news. - Subsidiary groups with their own programmes open to all members. - An annual Open Studios event for artists to open their studios to the public. - A Website to provide information and to publicise the Forum, its members, the Open Studios event and other activities.
