Job Description

Responsibilities

In Your First 45 Days: Get up to speed on Hatch’s business, including growth strategy, channel mix, customer segments, and key performance drivers
In Your First 45 Days: Build a clear view of current performance across marketing, web, and retail, identifying the most critical gaps and areas of opportunity
In Your First 45 Days: Partner with marketing, product, and analytics to understand how data is structured and where key blind spots exist
In Your First 45 Days: Surface and prioritize 3-4 high-impact opportunities or risks, with clear hypotheses and initial recommendations to guide near-term focus
By 90 days: Regularly synthesize inputs across marketing channels, retail, DTC, and market signals to identify the most important growth opportunities and risks
By 90 days: Partner with channel owners (paid social, PPC, influencer, creative, web) to shape test plans, size opportunities, and prioritize initiatives
By 90 days: Translate complex or incomplete data into clear narratives that help leadership make informed decisions
By 90 days: Establish a consistent cadence of insight sharing, helping teams and leadership stay focused on what matters most
After Your First Year: Play a central role in shaping Hatch’s growth strategy, contributing to annual planning and long-term investment decisions
After Your First Year: Identify step-change opportunities across channels, customer segments, and new growth levers

Requirements

6+ years of experience in growth marketing strategy, business strategy, or similar roles within high-growth consumer or e-commerce environments
Strong ability to work with data and synthesize it into clear, actionable insights and recommendations; comfortable using tools like SQL, Excel/Sheets, and BI platforms with a focus on interpretation over reporting
Experience in management consulting, business operations, or strategic growth roles strongly preferred
Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and executive leadership with clear thinking, strong judgment, and compelling communication
Comfortable stepping into ambiguous or high-pressure situations to assess performance issues, identify root causes, and recommend clear next steps
Deep understanding of marketing growth levers, including channel mix, audience expansion, and conversion optimization
Experience designing and evaluating experiments across marketing and web channels
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tell clear, compelling stories that drive alignment and action
High curiosity and strong business judgment, with a focus on identifying what matters most
