Support City of Hope’s health equity and cancer prevention outreach by assisting with campaigns, events, and partner communications, while gaining hands-on experience in healthcare nonprofit marketing and relationship management.

Develop CRM, volunteer coordination, and fundraising skills in a nonprofit healthcare setting.
Collaborate with Marketing, PR, and Community Health teams to implement health education and partnerships.

Job Description

Responsibilities

The Marketing & Community Outreach Intern will support City of Hope’s marketing and community engagement efforts by assisting with outreach campaigns, sponsored events, and partner communications.
Provide hands-on experience in healthcare and nonprofit marketing, event coordination, and relationship management while supporting health equity and cancer prevention initiatives.
Work closely with the Marketing, PR, and Community Health teams under the supervision of City of Hope staff.
Apply marketing and outreach strategies in a healthcare and nonprofit setting.
Demonstrate an understanding of community health education and cancer prevention messaging.
Support health equity initiatives through effective communication and community engagement.
Develop practical skills in CRM systems, event marketing, volunteer coordination, and fundraising.
Exhibit professional communication, teamwork, organization, and leadership skills.
Understand the role of philanthropy and community partnerships in advancing public health initiatives.
