FOIA & Inquiries: Coordinate response to FOIA requests.
Website & Digital: Prepare materials for updating the website and oversee the updates of all OBM websites and webpages.
Social Content: Prepare all materials for posting on social media.
Community Engagement: Support community engagement activities of the office.
Publications & Materials: Prepare and oversee content creation, including graphics for newsletters, brochures, pamphlets, and websites.
Events & Meetings: Coordinate and attend meetings and conferences to inform community groups and business organizations of upcoming events.
Data & Confidentiality: Access confidential and sensitive data and communication materials.
Promotional Materials: Design and coordinate the production of promotional materials including banners and posters.
Publications Support: Oversee and provides technical assistance to staff engaged in preparing and disseminating departmental publications.

Requirements

Seven (7) years of work experience in the preparation and dissemination of public information, OR
Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English or a directly related field, plus five (5) years of work experience in the preparation and dissemination of public information, OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, English or a directly related field, plus three (3) years of experience in the preparation and dissemination of public information , OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, English or a directly related field, plus two (2) of experience in the preparation and dissemination of public information
