Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Flock’s brand and mission
Create, curate, and schedule engaging content tailored to each platform’s unique audience and format
Manage daily social media activities including posting, community engagement, and moderation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and impactful messaging
Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and prepare regular reports on key metrics and insights
Identify trending topics, platform updates, and cultural moments to optimize content relevance and engagement
Build and nurture an authentic online community around Flock’s mission and initiatives
Experiment with new content formats, features, and strategies to enhance reach and engagement
Provide feedback and insights to inform broader marketing and communication efforts
Support the scaling of social media efforts as Flock expands its national presence

Requirements

Proven expertise in major social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
Strong creative storytelling skills with the ability to develop engaging, on-brand content
Experience managing content calendars, production timelines, and approval processes
Excellent community management skills, including responding to comments, messages, and moderating discussions
Analytical proficiency with the ability to track performance metrics, generate reports, and derive insights
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
Ability to adapt quickly to changing trends, platform features, and audience preferences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
