Job Summary

The role focuses on supporting department and Agency goals through content creation, event promotion, and social media. It seeks a current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or related fields with strong communication skills and familiarity with social platforms. Works towards the accomplishment of department/Agency goals
Maintains confidentiality and immediately reports to management breaches in confidentiality
Practices job/intern requirements on an accurate, timely and regular basis
Observes and maintains appropriate professional boundaries with members, co-workers and supervisors
Attends all scheduled meetings assigned
Meets relevant continuing educational/training requirements if applicable
Completes all required documentation/paperwork accurately and within established time frames.
Assist in creating content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and newsletters
Help design digital and print marketing materials such as flyers, graphics, and event promotions
Support photography and videography at programs and events (when appropriate)

Requirements

Current student or recent graduate (within one year of graduation) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred
Interest in nonprofit work, community engagement, or human services
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
