Job Description

Responsibilities

Create donor centered fundraising messaging across channels including direct mail appeals, newsletters, stewardship materials, online giving campaigns and email communications.
Support donor acquisition, retention, cultivation and stewardship through strategic storytelling and communications strategies.
Assist in executing and expanding a comprehensive donor stewardship program to generate, maintain, and improve philanthropic support.
Work across the development team’s email platform, donor database and web CMS and manage multiple projects with cross department collaboration.
Develop communication strategies and compelling written content for direct mail fundraising appeals, newsletters, stewardship communications and emails with the Annual Fund Director.
Develop innovative ways to connect with current donors and to acquire new supporters.
Collaborate with the Annual Fund Director to create a plan and calendar for online communications.
Serve as a liaison with the communications department.
Maintain and manage the development team’s email platform to engage, solicit and cultivate donors year-round through email communications.
Create, edit and update donor acknowledgement letters and stewardship communications to ensure meaningful donor engagement.
