Job Description

Responsibilities

Edit ad creatives at volume. You'll produce a constant stream of new cuts, hooks, and variations for Meta, YouTube, and TikTok, and you'll understand that creative volume is key in this landscape.
Own the hook. The first three seconds decide everything. You'll test opening frames, pattern interrupts, text overlays, pacing, captions, and audio, and you'll develop a formula for what actually stops the scroll for our audience.
Iterate off the data. You'll sit with the Paid Media Buyer and read the performance data, hook rate, watch time, CTR, ROAS. When an ad wins, you'll know why and produce new variations. When it loses, you'll know why and not repeat it.
Find new ways to use video. Ads are the floor, not the ceiling. Organic social, YouTube pre-roll, landing page assets, UGC-style content, creator collaborations, product demos, are all ways we can utilize video. You'll bring ideas for where video can open up a channel we've not optimized yet.
Work with creator footage. Many of our authors are YouTubers and podcasters with libraries of existing content. You'll mine that footage, pull the moments that land, and turn them into ads that feel native to their audience rather than like a commercial.
Repurpose ruthlessly. You'll build systems for cutting long-form video into shorts, verticals, thumbnails, and frames, enabling us to turn one creative into many finished products.

Requirements

Editing experience. You know DaVinci, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other post-production, editing, and motion graphic software well enough that execution isn’t the bottleneck.
Happy to take feedback. Notes will come from copywriters, media buyers, and leadership. You’ll take them, make the work better, and move on.
Mission alignment. You believe in what BRAVE is building, and you want your work pointed at it.
Proven experience editing video ad creative, with a reel or portfolio of work that ran on paid channels
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent)
Strong grasp of platform-native formats across Meta, YouTube, and TikTok
Comfort working from performance data and iterating quickly
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, in-office environment

Preferred

2–4+ years editing direct-response or performance video
Experience with eCommerce or subscription brands
Motion graphics and sound design capability
Experience shooting as well as editing
UGC and creator-content fluency
Background working with faith-based or values-driven brands
