Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and execute communication and outreach strategies that align with PERSI’s goals and objectives. This includes identifying target audiences and effectively communicating with them
Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and partnership opportunities
Oversee the creation and distribution of communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, and social media content, to effectively convey PERSI’s message
Plan and execute events, workshops, and presentations that promote PERSI’s initiatives and create membership engagement
Manage the outreach team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff members to ensure high performance and alignment with PERSI standards
Analyze the effectiveness of communication and outreach efforts and strategies, using data to inform decisions and make adjustments as necessary
Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously

Requirements

Experience providing technical expertise or managing a major program

Preferred

A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field
Several years of experience in outreach, communication, public relations, or community engagement
Strong managerial, communication and interpersonal skills
