You will own and manage public affairs and communications programs for assigned clients, leading media relations, community engagement, content creation, and campaign support across multiple channels.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Planning, coordinating and executing agency work in support of assigned clients
Managing deadlines and working within account teams to contribute ideas and execute tasks
Media relations:
Writing press releases and media materials in AP Style
Developing media lists and distributing press releases and other media materials
Pitching stories to the media
Preparing clients for media interviews and staffing client media engagements
Monitoring and analyzing media coverage and social media; preparing reports for internal teams or clients
Communications to support community engagement activities:
Conveying technical information in plain language for public audiences

Requirements

Candidates should have four to six years of experience in public relations, communications, community engagement or related fields.
Strong candidates will have experience working in corporate or government communications, community engagement and/or agency roles.
