Job Summary

Own the end-to-end management of Ellis Brooklyn’s social community and content ecosystem, coordinating strategy, calendars, and creator partnerships across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and peers while driving engagement and revenue opportunities.

Oversee community engagement and content planning across multiple platforms
Lead creator partnerships, gifting, and influencer initiatives
Analyze performance data to inform strategy and reporting

Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist with community management for all platforms, managing team member support and scheduling to deliver a best-in-class community engagement experience.
Support development of the overarching community engagement strategy across Ellis Brooklyn's social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.) to increase brand awareness, generate engagement, and drive fan and sales conversion.
Monitor comments, direct messages, and consumer conversations, escalating feedback, questions, and emerging themes to the appropriate internal teams.
Support development of the overarching organic social strategy across all Ellis Brooklyn social platforms to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and grow revenue opportunities.
Assist with content calendars, publishing schedules, and content coordination across innovation launches, hero campaigns, retailer priorities, and key brand moments.
Contribute innovative ideas, best practices, and reactive solutions for social media marketing, along with in-depth reporting, insights, and competitor analysis to inform the creative process.
Assist in copywriting and own specific copywriting tasks for the social team that stay true to the Ellis Brooklyn tone of voice.
Monitor platform trends, emerging content formats, and social conversations to identify opportunities for engagement and growth.
Create and edit content via on- and off-camera UGC-style video and stills (e.g., appearing in content on behalf of the brand, capturing in-office video of products and employees).
Attend brand photoshoots and/or events to manage, capture, and edit BTS content.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, content creation, community management, or a related marketing function.
Beauty, haircare, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred.
Experience creating content across social platforms preferred.
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and emerging social platforms.
Passion for creator culture, social media, and digital trends.
Experience creating, editing, and publishing social content.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfort working with performance data and translating it into recommendations.
