Responsibilities

Master of Enterprise Tech Storytelling: You bring deep industry expertise in SaaS, Cloud, Infrastructure, Hardware, Software, AI/ML, Process Automation, Low-Code/No-Code, Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Software Development.
Adaptability: Comfort working across multiple technical verticals and shifting between media relations, content, and digital strategy work as client needs require.
Media Relations: Build and execute media strategy that earns real coverage, from pitch to placement, backed by established relationships across top-tier tech and business media.
Content and Narrative: Write thought leadership, bylines, and campaign content grounded in deep industry expertise across SaaS, Cloud, Infrastructure, Hardware, Software, AI/ML, Process Automation, Low-Code/No-Code, Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Software Development.
Client Partnership: Act as a trusted, informed voice for your client partners, whether that means owning day-to-day account work or contributing senior strategic counsel, depending on the role’s final scope.
Measurement and Optimization: Track media monitoring and performance data to identify trends and refine strategy, ensuring every campaign is optimized for impact.
AI as a Tool, Not a Voice: Use AI for research, clarification, and speed. Keep all original thinking, writing, and strategy human.

Requirements

Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communication Studies, or a related field OR at least 5 years of hands-on experience in B2B Tech Media Relations.
Proven PR Expertise: 5+ years of experience in B2B Tech Public Relations, with a track record of securing impactful media coverage.
Portfolio: A demonstrated track record of media placements, published content, or both, that you can speak to in detail.
Industry Engagement: Willingness to occasionally travel for client events and industry conferences, representing brands and building relationships.
Tech-Savvy PR Skills: Familiarity with PR CRM systems and media databases is a plus, helping to streamline media outreach and campaign tracking.
