Job Summary

Own the marketing and business development support for an architecture firm, balancing proposals, client research, and external communications to keep BD moving on deadline.

Own deadline-driven submissions and marketing collateral such as proposals, decks, brochures, newsletters, and awards.
Coordinate calendars, logs, web updates, and internal/external comms with the BD and marketing teams.
Shape written messaging for submissions, client outreach, and social channels to support growth and awareness.

Responsibilities

Working closely with firm management and senior staff to develop deadline-sensitive deliverables such as proposals, qualifications packages, decks, brochures, newsletters and award submissions.
Maintaining marketing calendars and logs, project information database, project sheets, resume and brochure pages
Writing and customizing text for submissions and marketing materials
Assisting the Business Development Manager with client research and lead-finding
Coordinating updates on firm website
With the Marketing Assistant, facilitating internal and external communications, including email blasts and social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
Proactively providing support for the marketing and business development efforts in the office.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing for the A/E/C industry.
Graphics: High level of graphic design and layout capabilities.
Communications: Strong writer, skilled at defining and articulating a message. Excellent verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
Organizational skills: Highly-organized, detail-oriented professional with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Teamwork: The ability to work as part of team as well as independently in a deadline-driven environment.
Flexibility and a creative approach to problem solving are essential.
