Job Summary

Coordinate and support internal communications and social content by gathering stories, assets, and event materials while partnering with the Northwest Region team to keep messaging organized and on-brand.

Own content coordination: social posts, employee stories, and internal newsletters.
Support events, community engagement, and regional communications projects.
Maintain files, photos, and deliverables for the Northwest region.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist in creating and managing social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Gather and develop employee stories for internal newsletters and communication campaigns
Collect project profiles, data, and photos for website updates and marketing materials
Support the development and distribution of internal newsletters and communications
Assist in promoting the organization internally and externally through various channels
Help coordinate and participate in community engagement events
Organize and maintain files, records, and shared resources (digital and physical)
Assist with meeting coordination, including agenda preparation, note-taking, and follow-up on action items
Assist with event planning logistics, including scheduling, communications, and execution
Provide general office and administrative support as needed to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

Current enrollment or a recent graduate of a marketing, communications, social media, journalism, public relations or related field of study.
Sophomore standing or higher

Preferred

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications.
Detail-oriented, creative, and able to work independently or in a team setting.
Proficiency in Canva, InDesign, and Outlook.
Understand social media platforms and current market trends.
Previous communications and/or marketing experience or coursework
