The Creative Agency – Fort Collins, CO Part-Time | Performance-Driven Environment Pay Range | $21-24/hr + Rev Share After 90 Days This role is IN OFFICE. The Creative Agency is hiring a Web Designer with strong experience in WordPress and Shopify to design and build high-performing, visually elevated websites. This role requires both aesthetic excellence and platform fluency. You will design and implement websites that are clean, conversion-driven, and aligned with strategic brand direction. We are not looking for a hobbyist theme tweaker. We are looking for someone who understands layout, hierarchy, user flow, and e-commerce performance and can execute inside the platform. Design & Build Design full website concepts and scalable page systems in Figma prior to development Design and build custom WordPress websites (Elementor or similar builders as applicable) Design and build Shopify storefronts with strong attention to user experience and merchandising Customize themes to align with brand identity and strategic direction Translate approved Figma designs accurately into live environments Implement responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile Maintain clean structure, visual hierarchy, and visual consistency across all templates E-commerce Execution Product page design and optimization Collection page layout strategy Homepage merchandising layout Navigation and user journey optimization Basic understanding of conversion rate optimization Visual Brand Integration Translate brand systems into digital experiences Ensure typography, color, and spacing are executed correctly Maintain premium aesthetic standards across projects Systems Integration Work with marketing strategists for SEO-aware layouts Coordinate with developers when advanced functionality is required Present design concepts internally and occasionally to clients Required Experience 3+ years designing and building WordPress sites 2+ years working in Shopify (theme customization required) Strong understanding of responsive design principles Experience with page builders and theme customization Ability to implement without relying heavily on developers Bonus if you understand: Basic HTML/CSS editing ADA accessibility considerations SEO structure fundamentals Landing page conversion strategy Performance Expectations Manage 1–3 website projects at a time Execute builds efficiently without constant revision cycles Maintain design quality that reflects a premium agency standard Meet deadlines consistently We require a portfolio for candidate consideration; if one is not attached in your resume in your application, please email it to hello@thecreativeagencyco.com
