Role Description We are seeking a collaborative team player who pays meticulous attention to detail and can pivot quickly in a dynamic environment while maintaining a positive outlook to join our amazing team as a Web Content Manager/Editor. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Fort Meade, Md., with opportunities for remote work, supporting a federal cabinet-level website. In this vital role, you will manage and publish content, oversee content strategies and ensure messaging is consistent across all platforms. Additional responsibilities include using analytics tools to evaluate site/product performance and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of authority on special projects. Core hours for this position are 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with rotating evening and weekend on-call support responsibilities. Qualifications Proficiency in Content Management and Strategy Superb editing and writing skills, including using AP style Knowledge of Web Analytics tools Experience in balancing daily activities with long-term projects to meet deadlines effectively Excellent communication, organizational and collaborative skills A degree in Communications, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred Experience with SEO, UX design principles, and familiarity with CMS platforms is advantageous
