Overview: The Vice President of Content Licensing, LATAM is responsible for driving revenue through strategic licensing of Paramount Global’s content across multiple platforms in the Latin America territories. This role combines high-level sales strategy, client relationship management, and operational oversight to maximize monetization of our extensive content library. This role also leads a team of high functioning sales professionals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and execute domestic licensing strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. Identify new business opportunities across unscripted, library, and niche content categories. Conduct proactive market evaluation and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies. Build and maintain well-developed relationships with key buyers and partners. Present content offerings, negotiate high-value licensing agreements, and close deals. Ensure all agreements comply with internal policies and are fully serviced, delivered, and contracted. Oversee CRM deal workflow, including client setup, deal entry, and approval routing. Monitor sales history, clearances, and content availability to avoid conflicts with channel agreements. Prepare data-driven reports and analytical models for historical sales and forecasting. Lead budget planning and forecasting for designated content categories. Ensure timely collection of account receivables and maintain financial compliance. Lead team to succeed business goals. Set clear strategic priorities, revenue goals, and performance expectations. Guide team on development. Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development to elevate the individual and team capabilities. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team delivers. Oversee workload distribution, resource planning, and performance evaluation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all LATAM territories. Guide the team through complex deal negotiations, problem solving, and risk assessment, modeling sound judgment and strategic thinking. Champion cross functional partnership with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Content Strategy teams to streamline deal execution and improve workflows. Identify skill gaps and implement training, tools, and process enhancements to support long term team and territory success. Inspire a positive, inclusive environment that values innovation, open communication, and high-impact results. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in entertainment sales, preferably in content licensing or media distribution. Proven ability to lead high-value negotiations and influence senior stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel expertise required); familiarity with CRM systems and data visualization tools preferred. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Spanish language fluency; fluency in Portuguese preferred Willingness and ability to travel (up to 25%; valid passport required). Additional Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Passion for content and deep interest in the entertainment industry.
