Akkodis is seeking UX Software Engineer with Event Management for a Contract job with a client in Pennington, NJ/Charlotte, NC/Plano, TX- ( 3 days onsite in a week)- Hybrid (3 days on site in a Week). Pay: $70-73/hour – All Inclusive; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Top skills in order: Event Management - highly experienced - this is the #1 skill set UX (Angular or React) - mid level experience Watson AI Ops experience - "nice to have" ServiceNow experience - "nice to have" Position Overview We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Visualization/UX Engineer who is passionate about delivering intuitive and impactful user experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong technical fundamentals with a keen eye for design, enabling the creation of dashboards and workflows that drive adoption of ServiceNow and AIOps platforms. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement user-centric dashboards and visualization solutions for operational and event data across ITSM and monitoring platforms. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into intuitive UI/UX designs. • Integrate visualization components into ServiceNow and AIOps workflows, ensuring seamless user experiences. • Develop and optimize front-end solutions using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or similar). • Analyse user interaction patterns and continuously improve usability and accessibility of dashboards and portals. • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and performance in visualization layers. • Create and maintain documentation for visualization standards, design patterns, and integration points. • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for enterprise applications. • Experience designing dashboards and visualization solutions for IT operations or similar domains. • Familiarity with ServiceNow platform and AIOps concepts. • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks such as React or Angular. • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Exposure to event management tools and methodologies. • Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, or similar). • Knowledge of ITSM processes and operational workflows. • Understanding of cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
