Job Description Job Title: Talent Program Sr. Professional – Corporate Performance Location: Corporate Department: People Team Job Summary: The Senior Professional for Corporate Performance leads Wawa’s corporate performance philosophy and processes, ensuring they are simple, fair, and consistently applied. The role owns the full performance cycle - goals, quarterly conversations, ratings- and all Workday configuration, data integrity, and governance. By equipping leaders with clear guidance, tools, and insights, this role strengthens accountability, improves manager capability, and ensures performance outcomes support business priorities. They turn complex requirements into practical workflows and deliver analytics that help executives understand performance health and drive action. Principal Duties Lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of Wawa’s Corporate performance management system, including goal setting, quarterly conversations, ratings, manager capability tools, and decision-rights frameworks. Own enterprise competency and skill architectures, ensuring they reflect business expectations and directly inform performance criteria, calibration, career development conversations, and capability-building. Translate business priorities into simple, scalable performance processes and leader-facing tools that strengthen accountability, reinforce Wawa’s Values, and elevate manager confidence. Configure, test, and optimize Workday performance functionality, ensuring reliable forms, smooth workflows, and high data integrity across all Corporate performance cycles. Execute ongoing data audits and quality governance routines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across performance reviews, calibration processes, and reporting. Deliver performance insights and analytics - including distribution trends, calibration effectiveness, goal alignment - to inform executive decision-making and identify improvement opportunities. Benchmark modern performance science and best practices, bringing forward innovations that simplify experiences, reduce noise, and strengthen leader effectiveness. Partner with PTBPs, HRIS, Associate Relations, Leadership Development, and functional leaders to ensure aligned processes, coordinated communications, and smooth change adoption. Lead change management and employee/leader communication efforts to ensure successful rollout, understanding, and sustained adoption of performance tools, templates, and processes. Essential Functions Ability to work independently and lead collaborative efforts across multiple teams. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills to influence outcomes. Advanced organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements. Proven ability to solve complex issues with minimal guidance and drive process enhancements. High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment in sensitive situations. Ability to prioritize strategically while maintaining accuracy and quality. Strong Associate advocacy combined with a business-focused mindset to balance employee experience and organizational goals. Basic Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR or Talent Management, including program execution and process improvement Demonstrated ability to lead enhancements to tools, methodologies, and workflows Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting talent data and metrics Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders Project management experience with ability to manage complex initiatives Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong communication and presentation skills Wawa will provide reasonable accommodation to complete an application upon request, consistent with applicable law.
