Summer 2026 Visual Arts Camp Counselors

Teach art to kids - inspire creativity, teach art processes and concepts, facilitate work time, and employ (provided) programming to keeps kids regulated. Locations: Peninsula/South Bay: San Bruno, Burlingame, San Mateo, San Carlos, Redwood City, Foster City, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Santa Clara City: Mission District East Bay: Concord, Piedmont, Hayward, Martinez, Pleasant Hill, Moraga, San Leandro North Bay: Larkspur, Mill Valley We are looking for Lead, Support, and Jr. Counselors for these positions. Contracts are weekly from June 8-August 14. A minimum 2 week commitment is required for consideration. Find out more at www.A-ZCreativity.org What we are looking for: We are looking for Lead, Support , and Junior Counselors for this position. Lead Counselors 18+ Has experience working with kids and teaching experience leading a group of children Support Counselors 18+ Would like/has experience working with kids and would like to gain teaching experience Junior Counselors 14+, working papers, and proven leadership/interest in working with children. Job Requirements: Be able to pass a background check & TB Test Have/want experience working with children Like visual art & want to learn more about teaching art to children Ability to stand for extended periods of time, crouch, kneel, and sit, and lift 35 lbs. Training: 2-4 hours of virtual paid training is included with all counselor positions, position dependent. Compensation is commensurate with experience and position. Lead Counselors: $31/hr Support Counselors: $26/hr Junior Counselors: $20/hr Must be able to work the full duration of camp to be considered for this position. This is a W-2 position and non-benefited. All individuals will need access to transportation to reach the camp sites. Working hours are typically 8:30-3:30, on site and in person.
