Job Location: Bentonville, AR      Summary:    This role provides leadership to Customer Supply Chain Managers / Analysts located both on site at Hershey, located in field sales offices, and remote.    The position requires broad based knowledge of supply chain with flexibility to balance both strategic opportunities and support the team with tactical challenges that arise on daily bases.  Strong relationship and influencing skills are needed to work across the enterprise as daily interaction exists with customer supply partners, sales, commercial planning, finance, category teams, demand planning, transportation, etc.  This role will be a critical driver of customer supply chain strategies across Business Unit brands and Hershey North America.  The Sr Manager Supply Chain will deliver improved on shelf availability, on time delivery and reduced costs to serve through close partnership with commercial teams, supply chain stakeholders and customer partners.      Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:     Graduate degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration  Prefer 10-15 years of Supply Chain experience  Disposition to engage with customer at all levels of their organization (replenishment analyst to SVP)  Demonstrated ability of managing operational details, while also understanding big picture  Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and customer partners at all levels. Able to integrate feedback and adjust plans accordingly. Deep experience with quantitative analysis, creative problem solving, and complex project management.  Ability to work in ambiguous environments, bring structure, prioritize and drive to results  Proven ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships and influence cross-functional leaders  Exceptional oral and written communication skills  Proficient understanding of fundamental business management and supply chain principles and concepts  Thorough grasp of key internal and customer forecasting, order generation, and order fulfillment processes  Ability to lead multi-functional project teams  Strong working knowledge in SAP systems and tools  Ability to maintain focus on Hershey goals and improvements  Strong project management capabilities     Summary of Major Duties:  Lead Customer Supply Chain team to deliver supply objectives focusing on On shelf availability, case fill, on time delivery improvement and cost to serve reduction.  Champion customer specific initiatives that align short and long-term Customer Supply Chain and capacity objectives, tactics, vision and strategies.    Ensure visibility of key customer metrics, challenges and work streams to to broader organization   Own all aspects of Supply chain management with customer base working in close partnership with the commercial team and related functional teams on solutions that result in measurable business outcomes. Lead and inspire cross functional teams to deliver strong  plans to develop logistics initiatives and strategic projects.    Lead teams that leverage reporting to identify risk to commercial plans and activate functional areas of the business.  Develop and track capability success measures and continually optimize programs to increase supply chain effectiveness and impact across top ten retailers.   Drive monthly review of cost to serve opportunity improvement across multiple areas; OTIF fines, logistics costs, deductions, etc Coordinate and own monthly metric reviews and prepare monthly reporting to effectively communicate to the business.   Maintain structured teams that drive business through weekly Collaborative Demand Alignment (CDA) meetings that coordinate supply chain activities across internal Hershey team in support of new items, transition, seasonal buys, etc.   Ensure resources are working with multi-function internal and external teams to provide timely replenishment and planning actions and insights for all promotions, seasons, and planogram changes.   Represent The Hershey Company on all relevant special projects and customer initiatives.  Support Commerical team at various trade events;  CDBX, NACDS & FMI industry events.  Through customer interaction and regular benchmarking, develop and maintain a focus on customer’s strategic direction in order to educate and prepare internal constituents and actively participate in strategic programs when there is a demonstrated benefit to the total supply chain.       The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
