Location: Hershey, PA Payband: 1A Department: Finance       Summary of Role: Serve as an expert in Customer Planning by working closely with assigned customers on building their annual sales and trade plan.  Gain an in-depth understanding of customer strategies, success metrics, programs, and trade spend opportunities. In conjunction with cross-functional partners, collaborate with sales team to update and adjust their sales forecast and trade requirements in-line planning calendar.  Ensure sales and trade details are accurately and timely loaded into our Trade Promotion Management system (PlanEx).       Role Responsibilities: Monthly review of KPIs, R&O’s, and operational execution. Work cross functionally toward continuous improvement of forecast accuracy. Assist in annual plan activities between home office & customer teams. Collaborate with sales teams and customers to explore program, item and merchandising opportunities. Develop expertise in PlanEx usage and provide relevant reporting to assigned sales teams. Directly tied to customer’s Sales and Trade forecasting accuracy.           Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities: Business Acumen/Analytical Skills P&L familiarity Maintains thorough and explicit record of key planning assumptions by building block and key driver/initiative within PlanEx Serves as the voice for both Sales and IDP in core organizational processes (e.g., KEM Meetings, SKU Rationalization, product hierarchy changes) Analyze large data sets to drive planning decisions         Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:  Education – Bachelor’s degree required.
