Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Social Producer based in Los Angeles. The Social Producer’s role is to directly own the end-to-end production and delivery process, on time and on budget. The Social Producer is responsible for communicating effectively with the team and vendors throughout the Production process. This role is fast-paced and requires superb communication, ongoing collaboration, and a can-do attitude. What Your Day to Day will Look Like This role is a one-stop-shop on a small, dedicated team. They will own all aspects Production, Project Management and Post (end-to-end) on a team largely comprised of counterparts focused on Brand/Creative/Community Mgmt. Social first background, knowledge and interest is a must. Monitor performance and optimize production and processes to meet established KPIs. Partner with the Creative + Brand/Strategy throughout the creative process to advise on feasibility of ideas. Build production bids inclusive of timelines/review calendars, budgets and corresponding assumptions and inclusions, and production calendars. Tightly manage the OOP budget across all retainer and incremental projects, fully owning hard costs and tightly collaborating with Post Production to roll up into one holistic budget. Research, negotiate and secure all production vendors including production partners, crew, locations, talent, wardrobe, etc needed for shoots. Obtain and manage all production contracts and paperwork including crew deal memos and payroll, talent contracts, location permits and agreements, insurance COIs. Lead and manage a full crew for studio shoots and on-location productions from pre-production through wrap. Seek out new vendor partnerships, with an emphasis on minority-owned and led businesses. Manage a stable of freelance production resources (in addition to vendors). Ensure each shoot is run at the highest level of efficiency and professionalism. Develop deep expertise and knowledge around the client's businesses and industries. Qualifications 5-8 years of production experience in advertising or production industries. Expert understanding of production related technology/equipment and its applications, constraints and limitations. Expert understanding of production workflow and all required agreements, contracts, and logistical details along the way. Experience working on Productions with a heavy volume of deliverables. Experience in managing integrated marketing campaign production and vetting creative ideas for feasibility, with knowledge of how content can be utilized across all media channels. Experience in managing project expectations directly with clients. Experience managing internal stakeholders and external vendor relationships. Strong knowledge of budgets and timelines. An eye for crew talent, production designers, directors, DPs, etc. Comfortable working with budgets of all sizes.
