On July 4th 2026 at the 250th anniversary of America's independence, the largest-ever flotilla of tall ships from more than 30 countries will sail into the Port of New York and New Jersey creating a majestic nautical spectacle that will be an unforgettable once-in-a-generation event on sea and on land.Along with the spectacle of the tall ships flotilla, a diverse array of events, festivities and celebrations will be held across the entire region to educate, entertain and engage audiences from across the country and across all communities.The region will play host to millions to witness and participate in this historic birthday party celebrating the semiquincentennial of America’s independence, and honor the nations’ history, celebrate the present, and launch us into the future.
