Job Summary

Own and coordinate social media activity for MA Business events, from crafting platform-tailored content to optimizing campaigns and reporting results, while collaborating with marketing, events and creative teams.

  • Manage multi-platform content planning and execution to hit event objectives.
  • Leverage performance data and insights with the Senior Marketing Manager to improve campaigns and materials.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of social media activity for MA Business events, creating content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
  • Assist with the setup, monitoring and optimisation of paid social campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and help produce reports, sharing insights and recommendations with the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Work with our in-house studio to create and adapt graphic templates, ensuring brand guidelines are followed.
  • Review event photography and videography, selecting suitable content for websites and social media channels.
  • Create marketing and social media toolkits, materials and HTMLs for sponsors and exhibitors.
  • Gather testimonials and case studies to support ongoing promotional activity.
  • Support the delivery of live events when required and assist with wider marketing projects across the portfolio.
  • Work closely with colleagues across marketing, sales, events and creative teams.
  • Use performance data, feedback and insight to help improve campaign results.

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of social media platforms and how they are used for commercial marketing.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive, collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.

Preferred

  • Experience using tools such as Adestra, Evessio, Adobe Express, Photo Affinity or similar image editing software.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or other reporting and performance tools.
  • Experience supporting marketing activity for events, awards or exhibitions.
  • An interest in content creation, social media trends and digital marketing.
