Job Summary

Own and grow client social programmes by leading strategy, creative planning, and cross-functional client counsel to deliver platform-specific outcomes across audiences and sectors.

  • Lead social strategy and delivery, oversee creative generation, quality control, and measurement across multiple client programmes.
  • Mentor junior team members, manage client relationships, and contribute to new business proposals to expand engagements.
  • Coordinate paid social inputs with specialists to ensure alignment with client objectives and senior stakeholder expectations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the development and delivery of social client programmes and campaigns
  • Acting as day-to-day client lead, building strong relationships and providing excellent client counsel
  • Building a deep understanding of clients’ sectors, audiences and the social media landscape to deliver exceptional client work
  • Developing social strategies, tailored to platforms, audience and objectives
  • Leading creative idea generation, content planning, quality control and measurement across multiple client programmes
  • Commercial responsibility for key clients, including proactively driving client growth
  • Overseeing paid social consultancy on your client programmes (there are specialists in the team who deliver the execution)
  • Line managing and mentoring junior team members by contributing to our learning and development programme
  • Supporting on the development of new business proposals

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a specialism in social
  • Genuine passion for social media and influencers and a strong understanding of how brands can best leverage channels
  • Strong eye for creative excellence and the ability to produce compelling social content
  • Strong critical thinking and exceptional track record of leading clients and/or teams
  • Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders and consistently deliver exceptional results
  • A positive and flexible attitude to work, with the ability to build relationships collaboratively across the business at all levels
  • Ability to mentor and nurture the careers of colleagues
